In our lifetime rainbows will be called sunbows. They will only have 5 colours: red, orange, yellow, green, and blue.
Because violet and indigo are too hard to remember.

Cakes and Balloons
In our lifetime a balloon cake will be invented for birthday celebrations. It will be called a ballake or a calloon.
Cutting this hybrid balloon/cake will prove difficult.
The Six Million Dollar Man
In our lifetime there will be a remake of "The Six Million Dollar Man", but because of inflation he will be the "The Seven Million Dollar Man".
Microwaves
In our lifetime microwave ovens will be replaced by supermicromicrowave ovens called smicrowaves.
